Timelike form factor of the Kaon for vertical bar Q2 vertical bar =M2(J/ψ)

Description

The timelike form factor of the charged kaon is evaluated at vertical bar Q2 vertical bar =M2(J/ψ)=9.59 GeV2 by relating it to B(J/ψ→K+K-), B(J/ψ→KSKL) and B(J/ψ→e+e-). The resulting value, vertical bar Q2 vertical bar FK(9.59 GeV2)=0.81±0.18 GeV2 is found to be in good agreement with vertical bar Q2 vertical bar FK(13.5 GeV2)=0.85±0.05 GeV2 obtained recently by the direct measurement of the reaction e+e-→K+K-
