Current status of R and D of Japan Atomic Energy Agency

Description

It includes thirteen sections such as R and D of countermeasure for Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, practical application of FBR cycle, high level radioactive waste disposal technology, discharge technology system of nuclear fusion energy, quantum beam technology, formation of foundation of nuclear power research and development, application of hydrogen and heat from nuclear power, technical support for securing safety of R and D of nuclear power, calculation science technology, etc. On countermeasures for Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, fuel discharge from spent fuel poor, treatment of radioactive waste, remote control robot and decontamination are reported. The environmental distribution and translation process of radioactive materials released into the atmosphere and sea were studied by the diffusion analysis and translation process of them in the forest and earth. The variation factor and form of Cs in the marine sediment were determined. Eleven examples of neutrino oscillation phenomena were observed and announced to the world meeting. The structure of Li10GeP2S12, superionic conductor to show the maximum lithium ion conductivity, was determined. Structure analysis and hydrogen network change of transthyretin, and high performance Cs scavenger were described. The soft X-ray microscope with a laser-produced plasma source was constructed and observed the first in the world cell nucleus and mitochondria at high resolution, and detection of NMR signal of Pu atom was succeeded.
