Edge region hydrogen line emission in the PDX tokamak
Creators

Description
Measurements of the H/sub α/ line shape and of the spatial distribution of H/sub α/ emissivity in the PDX tokamak are interpreted in terms of molecular dissociation reactions at the plasma edge. The in-flux of molecules is shown to be roughly proportional to the edge emission intensity over a wide range of temperatures. The H2 particle lifetime is estimated for various types of discharges in PDX
