A supersymmetric Abelian model with 2-form gauge potential
- 1. Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Fisicas (CBPF), Rio de Janeiro, RJ (Brazil)
Description
One studies an Abelian gauge model with N = 1 - supersymmetry. The model is characterized by the presence of 2 gauge potentials: a vector and a 2-form, belonging to different U(1)-factors. A topological mass term links these gauge fields, yielding a massive spin-1 boson. There is also scalar matter minimally and non-minimally coupled to the gauge fields. The analysis is pursued in terms of component-fields and the discussion of the Wess-Zumino gauge for both gauge superfields is presented. Reduction to three-dimensional space-time is carried out and an N = 2 gauge model with a Chern-Simons term comes out. (author)
