Interactions between neutrons and materials
Description
Investigations of neutron-matter interactions at the AAEC Research Establishment are described. Contributions to neutron data have been made for both fission and capture reactions. The average number of prompt neutrons in a fission event has been measured for several fissionable elements and for a broad range of speeds of the incident neutron
