Unique radioisotope gauges and some examples of their application

Description

Some aspects of development and production of radioisotope industrial instruments in research institutes are described. General problems concerning design, development and production of such instruments as acids concentration gauges, air pollution dust monitors, X-ray fluorescence analysers and coating thickness meters are mentioned. Methods and instruments for measurement of ash content in brown coal based on the XRF and scattering of the low energy X-rays are described in more details. 18 refs. (author)
