On gauge formulation of gravitation theory based on the Cartan connection

Description
A gauge theory in Riemanni space-time with 4-dimensional local affine group is investigated. The usual gauge-field equations (an analogue of Yang-Mills equations) for connection coefficients generated by this group are written. In case of the affine connection coinciding with the Cartan connection the field equations are equivalent to Einstein ones. The gauge current is expressed then by means of energy-momentum tensor
