Advances in infrared observations of planetary nebulae

Creators

  • 1. California Univ., Santa Cruz (USA). Lick Observatory

Description

The author concentrates his discussion of emission lines to a relatively small number of recent observations at both shorter and longer wavelengths which have produced a wealth of new data for line emission. The observations include the emission of permitted lines of atomic hydrogen and helium, lines of less abundant ions, and the more exotic forbidden transitions of molecular hydrogen. (Auth.)
