On the mechanism of vanadium(V) extraction from sulfuric acid solutions with di-2-ethylhexyl-phosphoric acid

Description
The mechanism of vanadium (V) extraction from the sulfuric acid concentrated solutions (1.0-16.8 mole/l) with the di-2-ethylhexyl-phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) is studied through the IR and electron spectroscopy methods. It is established , that the above extraction proceeds by the cation-exchange mechanism with formation in the organic phase of the mixed-ligand complexes of the oxovanadium (V) dimer cation with the sulfuric acid and D2EHPA ions. The optimal condition of the vanadium (V) extraction are determined on the basis of the obtained data on its state
Abstract (Russian)
Методами ИК и электронной спектроскопии изучен механизм экстракции ванад (V) ди-2-этил-гексилфосфорной кислотой (Д2ЭГФК) из концентрированных растворов серной кислоты (1.0-16.8 моль/л). Установлено, что экстракция протекает по катионообменному механизму с образованием в органической фазе смешаннолигандных комплексов димерного катиона оксованадия (V) анионами серной кислоты и Д2ЭГФК. На основе полученных данных о состоянии ванад (V) определены оптимальные условия его экстракцииAdditional details
