Effects of manganese and heat treatment on structure and properties of Fe-0,1%C-14%Cr
Description
Phase composition and stability of residual austenite in respect to manganese content (2-8%) in 10Kh14 steel and regimes of heat treatment have been investigated. It is stated that σ-ferrite disappears in the structure with increase of manganese content and critical points of direct and reverse γ reversible α transformation decrease. Presence of 30-40% residual austenite in the structure of steel is necessary for obtaining high properties; addition of 6-8% Mn into 10Kh14 steel is the optimum from this view point
