Experiences in radiodiagnosis of small neurinomas of the auditory nerve

The authors report on their experience with air-CT cisternography in diagnosing small neutrinomas of the auditory nerve. Although this examination method has been very successful, false-positive findings are possible. Recent experiments with RM tomography are described and the ranking of this new method is discussed. Die Autoren berichten ueber ihre Erfahrung mit der Luft-CT-Zisternographie in der Diagnostik kleiner Akustikusneurinome. Obwohl diese Untersuchung sich sehr gut bewaehrt hat, sind falsch-positive Befunde moeglich. Die juengsten Erfahrungen mit der Kernspintomographie werden beschrieben und die Rolle dieser neuen Methode diskutiert. (orig.)Additional details
