Electrical phenomena in hydrogen bearing heterogeneous system of palladium-strontium cerate - barium-yttrium hydrocuprate

Description
The proton conductivity of the barium-yttrium hydrocuprate (HxYBa2Cu3O7+y, x ≤ 2, -0.1 ≤ y ≤ 0.1), equal to 10-6 S · cm-1 at 470 K, is studied experimentally for the first time. The activation energy is 0.6 eV. The proton conductivity constitutes 0.1% of the complete one on the direct current. The proton conductivity of strontium cerate (HzSrCe0.9Y0.1O3, z < 0.1) and hydrocuprate add to the Pd/cerate/hydrocuprate/cerate/Pd system the properties of an electrical accumulator with the emf of 0.6-1/2 V
Abstract (Russian)
Впервые экспериментально определена протонная проводимость гидрокупрата бария-иттрия (HxYBa2Cu3O7+y, X ≤ 2, -0,1 ≤ y ≤ 0,1), равная 10-6 с · см-1 при 470 К. Энергия активации -0,6 эВ. Протонная проводимость составляет 0,1% полной на постоянном токе. Протонные проводимости церата стронция (HzSrCe0.9Y0.1O3, z < 0,1) и гидрокупрата придают системе Pd/церат/гидрокупрат/церат/Pd свойства электрического аккумулятора с ЭДС 0,6-1,2 ВAdditional details
