Description

The interaction mean free paths of relativistic projectile fragments, 3<=Z<=26 emitted from heavy-ion beam of 56Fe at an energy of <1 GeV/nucleon in nuclear emulsion are measured and they remain almost constant at different distances from their production point within their statistical errors. Some characteristics of the primary and secondary interactions are presented
