Sorption of europium by polymer sorbent containing diaza-18-crown-6 and its application in analysis

Description

Sorption of europium thenoyltrifluoroacetonate by polymeric sorbent containing diaza-18-crown-6 is studied. Sorption capacity of sorbent is calculated; the degree of extraction for all lanthanides is determined. All lanthanides, besides Gd,Tu,Yb,Lu and Y, are completely sorbed. The methods for luminescence determination of europium in thulium and ytterbium oxides with detection limits 0.002 and 0.001 %, correspondingly, by means of europium sorption, using sorbent studied and recording the intensity of its luminescence just in the sorbent, is developed
