R and D project 'Controlled aging and lifetime optimization of nuclear power plant units with VVER 440 reactors'
Description
The content of the title R and D project addressing the aging mechanisms taking place in materials and components of nuclear power plants is described. The project is aimed at analyzing residual lifetime of safety-related equipment and the reliability of nuclear power plant units. Within the project, provisions and procedures aimed to implement aging management programmes at operable reactor units are proposed. (author)
