Combined RBS/channeling and PAC studies of hafnium-doped LiNbO3

Description
The lattice location of hafnium in lithium niobate single crystals has been studied, combining rtesults of both the RBS/channeling and the perturbed angular correlation techniques. Studies on surface modifications of LiNbO3 crystals by hafnium implantation, followed by heat treatments, are also reported. The results are compared with those obtained with crystals doped with hafnium during growth. (orig.)
