Photon emission by relativistic heavy hydrogen-like ions under coherent resonant excitation in crystals

Description

Photon emission by relativistic heavy hydrogen-like ions at coherent excitation in crystals is simulated. Resonance coherent excitation of Ni27+ relativistic ions flying through Si monocrystal, <110> direction is studied. After averaging of trajectories by N=103 in the computer experiment one may clearly observe strong resonance at investigation into charge state as a function of energy of ion beam. Resonance width (∼ 3 MeV) constitutes under 0.2 % in contrast to beam energy. 5 refs.; 2 figs
