Description

22 scientists provide in 12 articles a survey about what is happening at Tchernobyl. This includes the situation today in the countries most affected of the former Soviet Union and in Germany, and also the consequences of the accident. There is given a detailed report about the measurement activities of the German Federal Republic and the project of GAST 'scientists help the children of Tchernobyl'. The follows: A survey of epidemiological studies in Germany, a presentation of regulations and professional help as a consequence from the accident, and finally an evaluation of the media and their part in the proliferation of information. Abstract (German)

In 12 Artikeln geben 22 Wissenschaftler einen Ueberblick ueber das Geschehen in Tschernobyl, die derzeitige Stituation in den betroffenen Laendern der ehemaligen Sowjetunion und in Deutschland sowie ueber die Konsequenzen aus dem Unfall. Es werden ausfuehrlich die Messaktionen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und das GAS-Projekt 'Wissenschaftler helfen Tschernobyl-Kindern' dargestellt. Einem Ueberblick ueber die epidemiologischen Studien in Deutschland folgt eine Darstellung von Regelungen und fachlichen Hilfen als Konsequenz aus dem Unfall und abschliessend eine Betrachtung ueber die Rolle der Medien bei der Aufarbeitung der Informationen.
