Magnetic properties and electron density distribution of LaxBi1-xFeO3

Description
LaxBi1-xFeO3 (x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1) powders and thin films have been prepared by a conventional ceramic processing technique, and their mass magnetization and magnetic susceptibility have been measured at temperatures from 77 to 1000 K. The electron density distribution in BiFeO3 and antiferromagnetic La0.5Bi0.5FeO3 has been determined using self-consistent FP LMTO calculations within the local-density-functional approximation

Поликристаллические объемные и тонкопленочные образцы LaxBi1-xFeO3 (x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1) изготовлены по обычной керамической технологии. Исследованы температурные зависимости удельной намагниченности и магнитной восприимчивости в интервале температур 77-1000 К. В рамках теории функционала плотности при использовании приближения FP LMTO проведены самосогласованные расчеты распределения электронной плотности для BiFeO3 и La0.5Bi0.5FеО3 в антиферромагнитной фазеAdditional details
