Sulphate-containing lead-borate glass EPR spectra
Creators
Description
An attempt is made to obtain new data on the distribution of components between existing phases of liquate sulphate-borate glasses. Sulphate-ions were introduced into PbO glasses using lead sulphate (1) or sodium sulphate (2). ESR spectra were recorded after 50 kGy gamma irradiation of glasses at 77 and 300 K. It is shown that PbO is primarily located in one structural position in case 2 and in two positions - in case 1. Values of lead ion concentrations are comparable in both structural positions
