Description
We calculate the relativistic corrections to the hadronic annihilation decay rates of P-wave heavy quarkonia, and expressions for the decay rates of four P-wave states are given to next-to-leading order in both the strong coupling constant αs and the velocity v of the heavy quark. They include ten nonperturbative parameters, which can be rigorously defined as corresponding matrix elements of color-singlet and color-octet four-fermion operators in nonrelativistic QCD. We expect all these parameters can be determined from lattice calculations in the future. copyright 1997 The American Physical Society
