Description
In 400 GeV proton-emulsion nucleus interactions the correlations between the multiplicities of various charged secondaries are investigated. The number of grey particles in an interaction is found to be the best experimental measure of the average number of intra-nuclear collisions, (v). The distributions of (NS) as a function of (Nh) in different regions of the rapidity space show positive correlation in the target fragmentation and the central regions and no correlation in the projectile fragmentation region
