Wind damage to windows as estimated from explosion tests

Description

Window damage data from chemical and nuclear explosions were analyzed to provide information on the realistic behavior of installed glass. The results, in terms of blast overpressure, were transformed to wind gust loadings of comparable time scales, and can be used to predict window breakage probability for various wind speeds. (U.S.)
