Binding, Coulomb and relativistic effects in K-shell ionization
- 1. Tanta Univ., Tanta (Egypt). Dept. of Physics
Description
The experimental values of the ionization cross sections and ratios are discussed in the light of theoretical calculations based on the first order Born approximation or semi-classical approximation (SCA) including main corrections at low projectile velocities - Binding (B), Coulomb (C), and Relativistic (R). It is concluded that the cross sections calculated according to these procedures are in good agreement with the experimental data. (author). 24 refs., 4 figs
