Angular correlations of particles produced in interactions of fast hadrons with nuclei
Description
A formalism is proposed for analyzing angular correlations of particles produced in hadron-nucleus collisions at incident-hadron energies of a few GeV per nucleon. The method is based on the Glauber-Sitenko model of multiple scattering and on the cluster representation of the nuclear wave function inspired by the spectroscopic-factor theory. The calculations performed in this model enable the authors to evaluate the relative contributions of specific interaction mechanisms to the amplitude of fragmentation processes in various kinematic domains. 12 refs., 7 figs
