Description
The development of a readout system for drift chambers has been reported. One of drift chamber systems will be located inside a solenoid magnet with a field of 5 kilogauss. The amplifier - discriminator will be mounted directly on the chambers so that only logic level signals will be transmitted to the time digitizer location about 25 m away. The schematics of the time - to - analog part of the time degitizer, its analog - to - digital converter and memory are presented and outlined. The readout of the memory is by standard CAMAC techniques. Electronics will be made in the CAMAC standard too
