Possibility of using PLP with carbon steel pipes under neutral-oxygen water conditions
Description
Results of commercial tests of low-pressure preheater (LPP4) with 20 K grade carbon steel tubes under neutral-oxygen water conditions are analysed. Possibility of long-term reliable LPP operation has been established. It is shown that water demineralization results in the deceleration of electro-chemical corrosion process and its share in the total corrosion doesn't exceed 2%
