Description
A method to look for CP violation in the neutral B-meson system using asymmetrically time-integrated decay rates is discussed. With this method, observation of CP violation may be possible at Υ(4S), where the CP asymmetry vanishes with the usual symmetric time-integrated rate. A rate estimate is made based on the standard model prediction taking the latest observation of B0-anti B0 oscillations into account. We confirm the previous prediction that CP violation can be large in the B-meson system. (orig.)
