Electromagnetic interactions in the neutron-proton system
Description
An effective potential describing the electromagnetic interactions of the neutron-proton system is constructed in order to study systematically the importance of electromagnetic corrections in the analysis of experimental measurements. Analytical developments are presented. All numerical problems affecting the calculation of observable quantities when such a potential is added to the nuclear forces can be solved satisfactorily by straightforward techniques. (MDC)
