Copper determination in uranium, uranium oxides (UO2, UO3, U3O8), ammonium diuranate, U-Al-Fe alloy (700 ppm Al and 300 ppm Fe) and U-Mo alloy (1.1 percent Mo) by acid dissolution reduction of copper by hydroxylamine hydrochloride and formation of a complex with diquinolyle-2,2' amyl alcohol (pH value 6 to 7) and spectrophotometry at 550 nm. The method is applicable for copper content between 5 to 40 ppm in respect of uranium contained in the material

Dosage de cuivre dans: l'uranium, les oxydes UO2, UO3, U3O8, le diuranate d'ammonium, les alliages du type U-Al-Fe contenant environ 700 ppm d'aluminium et 300 ppm de fer, les alliages du type U-Mo contenant environ 1,1% de molybdene par mise en solution acide, reduction du cuivre par action du chlorhydrate d'hydroxylamine et formation d'un complexe avec le diquinolyle-2,2' en milieu alcool amylique (pH 6 a 7) et spectrophotometrie a la longueur d'onde de 550 nm. La methode est applicable a des teneurs en cuivre comprises entre 5 et 40 ppm par rapport a l'uranium contenu dans le materiau analyseAdditional details
