Experimental limits on the strength of neutral currents at PETRA energies
Description
Data on the processes e+e- → e+e- and e+e- → m+m-at PETRA energies (s = 1000 GeV2) are compared with the predictions of the standard (Salam-Weinberg) electro-weak theory and limits are obtained on the values of the vector and axial vector coupling constants. The data are also compared with extended gauge models containing more than one neutral weak boson. Lower limits are placed on the masses of such bosons
