Description
The gamma exposure due to deposited radionuclides has been determined at indoor and outdoor locations of urban environments using the results of separate Monte Carlo computations for the single deposition surfaces presented in part I of the paper. Location factors, defined as the ratio of the exposure rate at the respective location and the exposure rate over lawns, are given for different types of deposition and environments of the buildings. Their variation over the various detector positions within each location is indicated. The dependence of the location factors on the energy of the gamma radiation is investigated. A comparison is made of location factors for times shortly after deposition and for one year after deposition. (author)
