X-ray structure study of Mn(2) complexes with malonic acid dihydrazide of the type Mn(DM)2X2·nH2O, where X=Cl-, 1/2SO42-, ClO4-, I-; n=0-4

Description

The crystal and molecular structure as well as stereochemical peculiarities of the Mn(DM)2T2 complex (DM-malonic acid dihydrazide) are investigated by the X-ray structure study. The parameters of a monoclinic cell are: a=19.995(6), b=6.885(1), c=16.946(5) A; β=134.34(1); sp. gr. C2/c, Z=4; dcalcd=2.31 g/cm3. The structure is solved by the method of a heavy ion. It belongs to the number of polymer-ion structures and it is constructed from metal-dihydrazide polymer chains and I- anions
