Interaction of titanium-molybdenum system alloys with hydrogen under 1 atm (0.1 MPa) pressure

Description

The kinetics of sorption and desorption of hydrogen in the titanium-molybdenum system alloys and thermal stability of formed hydride phases is performed. It is shown that for attaining equilibrium hydrogen saturation of the titanium-molybdenum system alloys multiple realization of the sorption-desorption processes is required. With increase of molybdenum concentration in the alloy the quantity of absorbed hydrogen under the 0.1 MPa pressure is reduced and the temperature of its evolution on heating of alloy hydride in vacuum is decreased
