Phase equilibria in U-U3Si2-UAl2 system

Description
Investigation results of phase equilibria in uranium alloys with silicon and aluminium near the content of the lower silicide in the range of temperatures up to 990 deg C are given. Phase diagram of U-U3Si2-UAl2 is plotted. It is shown that four-phase peritectoid reaction of uranium silicide formation at 973±7 deg C takes place. Data on reaction γ+δ'=β+UAl2 at 765 deg C are confirmed
