Description
This chapter is strictly tentative since detailed operational rules can only be evolved once the design of many items is well known. However, such design work can proceed only if some general operational requirements are laid down and the present study is not intended to do more than this. The study is restricted to the Reference Solution which, because of the upward fiow of helium through the heat exchangers, raises more problems than the variant solution. The following sequences are to be read in conjunction with figure 3.6.
