Effect of controlled oscillatory flow on reflood behavior
Description
In order to study the effects of controlled oscillations of inlet flow on reflood phenomena during LOCA, amplitude and frequency controlled oscillations were introduced during oscillatory flow test runs into the bottom injected collant using Plusafeeder pump in EPRI/SUNYAB 3 x 3 rod bundle. Parametric studies were performed to investigate the effect of variations of power input to the rod bundle, bottom injection flow rate, frequency and amplitude of oscillations
