Analysis of elastic proton-nucleus scattering in the Glauber-Sitenko approach with intermediate excitations of nuclei

Description
On the basis of the Glauber-Sitenko theory with taking account of intermediate excitations of nuclei, calculations of differential cross sections and spin observables of the proton-nucleus elastic scattering at intermediate energies is carried out using Hartree-Fock and model-free nuclear densities and NN-amplitudes found from phase-shift analyses. It has been shown that taking account of the intermediate excitations significantly affects the behavior of the observations at not too small scattering angles

На основе теории Глаубера-Ситенко с учетом промежуточных возбуждений ядер мишени проведены расчеты сечений с использованием хартри-фоковских и безмодельных ядерных плотностей и NN-амплитуд, найденных из фазовых анализов. Показано, что учет промежуточных возбуждений существенно влияет на поведение наблюдаемых в области не слишком малых углов рассеянияAdditional details
