Calculation of the critical buckling of a lattice based on the integral form of the transport equation
Description
The migration area, which relates the buckling to the multiplication factor, can be calculated by means of the Deniz formula. This formula involves the direct and adjoint angular fluxes. It is shown in this note that it is possible, using the integral form of the transport equation, to establish an equivalent formula in which only angle-integrated quantities appear. This formulation is more suitable for the calculation by the collision probably method. (author)
Abstract (French)
L'aire de migration d'un reseau, qui relie le laplacien au facteur de multiplication, peut etre calculee au moyen de la formule de Deniz. Cette formule fait intervenir les flux angulaires direct et adjoint. On montre qu'il est possible d'etablir, en partant de la forme integrale de l'equation de transport, une formule equivalente, dans laquelle n'apparaissent que des quantites integrees sur les directions. Cette formulation est plus adaptee au calcul par la methode des probabilites de collision. (auteur)Files
