Description
Systematic study of ZrO2 behaviour stabilized by various oxides under long-time effect of temperatures of up to 2300 deg C was conducted. Optimal Y2O3, Nd2O3, CaO and MgO concentrations in zirconium refractories providing the successful product service under conditions of multiple long time effect of high temperatures were established. The maximum acceptable temperature at which the long-time service of zirconium products is possible was determined: during ZrO2 stabilization by magnesium oxide it equals 1900 deg C, by calcium oxide-2000 deg C, by rare earth oxides - above 2300 deg C
