Concluding remarks

In this article the main subjects of the ''Nuclear Physics Close to the Barrier'' conference are summarized that is: identification of new neutron-reach and proton-reach isotopes produced in heavy ion reactions, properties of weakly-bound nuclei, spectroscopy at edge of beta stability valley, new results on nuclear deformation, Coulomb excitation, giant resonances as well as application of nuclear methods in solid state and atomic physics, medical and environmental studies. The information about new experimental facilities and studies on electronics is also given
