Description

Excitation of the surface waves due to a nonlinear interaction of electromagnetic waves obliquely incident upon a boundary of a dense magnetoactive plasma layer is investigated. We have considered a warm inhomogeneous plasma layer with very small thickness as compared to the wavelength of oscillations and the effect of an external dc magnetic field perpendicular to the propagation of the electromagnetic wave (Em) wave. The current density and the electromagnetic fields of generated surface waves at combined frequency of incident waves are calculated. It is found that the dispersion function for them depends on the width of plasma and both of the finite temperature of electrons the external magnetic field
