Description

181Ta target has been prepared by vacuum evaporation method at the target development laboratory in IUAC, New Delhi. The plan is to use the 181Ta target in fission hindrance studies utilizing heavy ion reaction analyzer (HIRA) facility at IUAC. Two different methods were adopted to prepare self supported tantalum target and with carbon backed tantalum target
