Study of direct single photons and correlated particles in proton-proton collisions at √s = 62.4 GeV (CCOR collaboration)

Description

Invariant cross sections for direct single photon production were measured with thresholds of 3, 5, 7, and 9 GeV/c in p/sub T/. The fraction γ/all of single-photon events in the data sample is plotted. The +/- charge ratio in the hemisphere opposite the trigger was determined for single-γ and π0-type events. 4 figures
