Hyperfine interactions in the intermetallic system Ce(Fe1-x Alx )2 Al-rich side
Description
Investigations of the hyperfine interactions of the Ce(Fe1-x Alx)2 system in the Al rich side for 0.60 ≤ x ≤ 1.0 have been performed using Moessbauer spectroscopy at room temperature and 4.2 K, under applied magnetic fields Ba ≤ 4.5 T. The spectra can be analyzed in terms of two components, D1 and D2; the former one is associated to the Fe in Ce(Fe1-x Alx)2 and D2 to the spurious phase Ce2(Fe17-x Alx) that appears in small amount, but is strongly magnetic.
