1/Nc corrections to π-nucleon scattering relations in chiral soliton models

Description
We study the leading algebraic finite-Nc (number of colors) corrections to the π-nucleon scattering relations of Mattis, Peskin, and Karliner. We find that these corrections do not spoil the qualitative success of their relations in the high partial waves but that further dynamical finite-Nc corrections are needed to correct the inadequacy of the relations in the S and P waves
