Investigation of indium and carbon melting induced by dynamic laser action

Description
Melting of indium and glassy carbon induced by nanosecond laser impulse under conditions of a closed surface has been studied, the results are provided. Optics-acoustic measurements of pressure pulse permitted recording the melting on the samples irradiated surfaces at a pressure of P ≅ 0.3 GPa. It is shown that, when passing the melting point, pressure pulse dependence on time changes from proportional intensity of laser impulse to proportional integral absorbed energy

Представлены результаты исследований плавления индия и стеклографита под действием наносекундного лазерного импульса в условиях закрытой поверхности. Оптико-акутические измерения импульса давления позволили зарегистрировать плавление на облучаемых поверхностях образцов при давлении Р = 0,3 ГПа. Показано, что при переходе через порог плавления зависимость импульса давления от времени изменяется, переходя от пропорциональной интенсивности лазерного импульса к пропорциональной интегральной поглощенной энергииAdditional details
