An apparatus for gamma-step scanning of irradiated fuel rods
Description
Automatic translation: In the HOT CELLS at KFA Jülich, an apparatus is operated with which the intensity curve of up to three gamma lines can be measured as a function of the location along the axis of prismatic samples. The background can be subtracted automatically. The sample is at rest during the gamma measurement. Between two measurements, it is automatically moved in preselectable steps. The measuring method and evaluation procedure are described. Examples of the measurement results are shown.
Abstract (German)
Files
