Kaon-nucleon scattering with a meson theoretical potential

Description

In this thesis a kaon-nucleon potential is derived in the framework of the helicity formalism and time-ordered perturbation theory. This potential is based on one- or two-boson exchange. By means of this potential an integral equation for the R matrix is derived. As results the phase shifts for s, p, d, and f waves for incident momenta up to 1.5 GeV/c are presented. (HSI)

Abstract (German)

In dieser Arbeit wird ein Kaon-Nukleon-Potential im Rahmen des Helizitaetsformalismusses und der zeitlich geordneten Stoerungstheorie hergeleitet. Dieses Potential basiert auf Ein- oder Zwei-Bosonenaustausch. Mittels dieses Potentials wird eine Integralgleichung fuer die R-Matrix hergeleitet. Als Ergebnisse werden die Phasenverschiebungen fuer s-, p-, d- und f-Wellen fuer Einschussimpulse bis zu 1,5 GeV/c vorgestellt. (HSI)
