Description
In this article the current status of the proton-ring of the HERA storage ring is described. Especially considered are the proton linac, DESY III, PETRA II, the proton beam optics and the machine theory, the superconducting and the warm magnets, the cryogenics, the magnet measurement facility, the RF system, the vacuum system, the control system and the instrumentation, as well as the beam dump.
